The Brief
Civil & Site Services Preparation for Future Sports Infrastructure Development
Ipswich City Council engaged COHA Group to project manage and deliver the Early Enabling Works package (‘Fit for Purpose” Works) for a future elite sporting use. COHA Group administered the works carried out by BMD Group, which included managing 100,000 cubic metres of earthworks, removal of vegetation and contaminated soil, importing new fill to create flood immunity, relocating the existing Mountain Creek to accommodate the future sporting facility, the installation of in-ground stormwater, sewer electrical, gas and comms infrastructure.
