This year Paul Coory, COHA Group Managing Director, is taking part in the Vinnies CEO Sleepout to raise money for the St Vincent de Paul Society who do outstanding work supporting many Australians experiencing homelessness.
Like many, Paul watched the wonderful response from our Brisbane community in past years, and decided to sign up - but needs the help of the amazing humans in our network!
Paul will be joining a lot of industry peers on the night, an experience that will be powerful, seeing what we can all achieve when we come together.
But the real reason Paul is doing this is to step outside the rhythm of everyday life and take stock. In a world that doesn’t slow down, it’s easy to become absorbed in our own schedules, pressures, and priorities, which often comes with a loss of awareness of what - and who - is around us.
The Vinnies CEO Sleepout is an opportunity to pause, reflect, and spare a thought for the people we might walk past on the street without really seeing them, and understanding their stories - many stories that were once no different than our own.
To help break the devastating cycle of homelessness, Paul needs your support. Paul has set a target of $5,000 - we`re sure with your help he can smash that! By donating as much as you can, you`ll make a huge difference to people who need it most.
